You can reach us at care@kindredestate.com or (346) 396-2500 (Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm CT).
Scope of services
Our services are estate administration and coordination only. We do not provide legal advice, prepare or file legal or court documents, represent anyone in a dispute, resolve conflicts among heirs, or decide whether you need an attorney. Legal questions, court filings, and any disputes are for an attorney of your choosing.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Kindred may update these terms at any time, and continued use means you accept the changes.
Who may use our services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use this site or engage our services. If you engage us in connection with an estate, you represent that you are authorized to share the information you provide and to arrange administrative services for that estate.
Not legal or tax advice; no attorney–client relationship
The content on this site is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, or professional advice. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or representation. We do not decide whether you need an attorney and do not prepare or file legal or court documents. Using this site or our services does not create an attorney–client relationship.
Services
Any description of our estate administration and coordination services is a summary. The specific scope, fee, and terms of any engagement are set out in a separate written agreement entered into before work begins.
How we are paid
Kindred is paid only by its clients. We do not accept referral fees, commissions, or any payment from the attorneys, CPAs, appraisers, or real estate professionals we help coordinate, and we do not collect or split their fees. You engage and pay those professionals directly under their own terms.
Payments, fees, and refunds
Our fees, payment timing, and the Estate Setup fee credit are described on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; by paying, you agree to their terms in addition to ours.
Refunds, cancellations, and how third-party costs are handled are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
No warranties
This site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount of the Kindred fees you paid us for the engagement giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Greenbaum Holdings PR LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site or our services.
Governing law and venue
These terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or our services are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the dispute-resolution section below, the exclusive venue for any dispute is the courts located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of the state where you reside.
Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first and work with us in good faith to resolve it informally before starting any formal proceeding. Most issues can be resolved quickly this way.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any signed engagement agreement, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the website and our services.
